Louise Champion is the creative energy behind Spitalfields. Inspired by the traditions of European craftsmanship, symbolized by the 17th century Huguenot weavers in Spitalfields (London), Louise has specialized in antique and contemporary upholstery for 15 years. With her knowledge of colour and fabric selection acquired during her previous career in the costume departments of opera houses and theatres in Europe and Canada, Louise, with her dedicated, skilled team has been transforming clients’ homes and commercial interiors throughout S-W Ontario.

Based in Stratford ON, and widely recognized for our distinctive custom upholstery, Spitalfields has recently expanded the workshop to include a spacious new showroom offering high quality, Canadian made custom furniture, using traditional skills, local trades people, artisans and suppliers. We also showcase a selection of elegant window coverings, drapery hardware and blinds, and a dazzling array of beautiful fabrics and trims in our newly opened design resource area.
